Operating in a highly competitive market place, Matthew Dabell, Director of aspire knows only too well how important it is to try and keep one foot ahead of his rivals. He has just incorporated videos into the company’s marketing, as they are fast becoming the most effective way to advertise and showcase a company, and the internet, and latest broadcast technology, allows such videos to be very accessible to everyone. Here, he discusses the reasons behind the new corporate and office videos;
“At aspire we like to think we are normal people with normal hobbies and interests. We are in a service industry and therefore very much in the business of dealing with people, so we firmly believe a corporate video allows us to fully showcase who we really are. Not only was it an enjoyable way of bringing the teams from all our offices in SW London together, but it gave us the opportunity to show that we are professional, and at the same time having fun! Rather than wading through a whole load of text on the website, we thought this might bring something more lively to our customers – plus research shows that everybody recalls far more information when presented with pictures than when the same information is presented in words! It is also true that many of our customers live abroad and outside London and so this was also a way for them to put a face to a name.
YouTube is the second largest search engine so it’s essential for us to have a presence on it, and we wanted to ensure that our website offered the best Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to make sure even more people visit it. Our office videos celebrate our knowledge whilst reflecting the fact that our teams not only know their areas inside out, but have also sold a large number of properties. We hope they demonstrate that our customers are looked after by a team of people who are not simply going through the motions, but are experts in their field who genuinely care about the service they are providing.
