VALUATION

Your High Street Hero

High Street agents still the favourite choice among property sellers.

Deciding to sell your home is a massive decision but once you’ve committed to move, there’s the matter of who is going to look after your sale. There’s no shortage of choice, with online agents and newer ‘hybrid’ companies all vying for your business but Aspire can report that over 90% of sellers opt for their local High Street agent. The research, published by HomeOwners Alliance, also found that online agents were mainly chosen in markets that were particularly buoyant, suggesting that sellers prefer High Street agents in conditions when real property expertise and local knowledge is needed.

If you’re weighing up your agent options, it’s worth bearing in mind the benefits of using a High Street estate agent such as Aspire:-

The best price for your property – a High Street agent will understand local demand and use this to reach the keenest buying audience. And rather than solely rely on interest from the internet, Aspire will secure additional viewings and offers from our waiting list of buyers. Indeed over 40% of viewings are arranged via the office and not from direct internet leads. Together these will help achieve the highest price possible.

Face-to-face communication – never underestimate the human touch when selling your biggest asset. A local estate agent like Aspire ensures you’re not a file number within a call centre but a valued client who can get in touch for reassurance from consistently familiar faces.

Quicker transactions – a key strength at Aspire is our hands-on, proactive sales progression - something online and hybrid agents rarely offer (it’s why their fees can appear cheaper). Our agents get stuck in as soon as an offer is accepted - chasing solicitors, mortgage lenders and others involved to reach exchange in the quickest time possible and to avoid chains collapsing.  Problem solving is what we do best!

No sale, no fee – there’s no better incentive to sell your home than a fee that’s payable upon completion. Many online and hybrid agents request a non-refundable fee up front or demand payment even if they don’t sell your home, meaning your representative can soon lose interest in your sale.
